Our film is based on the life of Mark Rashid, world-renowned horseman and writer of both the novel and screenplay for Out of the Wild. Mark's approach to training horses is rooted in a deep understanding of the bond between man and horse, as well as a distinct softness with which he treats each animal he encounters. His methodology, largely developed through his personal experience, has helped and inspired people from all parts of the world both in their horse endeavors as well as the trials and tribulations of the ever-challenging human condition.

A true independent film with minimal budget and only a three-week schedule for principal photography, our production battled the elements of the Nevada desert with temperatures reaching 110 degrees fahrenheit, harsh windstorms, and torrential downpours to bring this story to life.  We are proud to present Out of the Wild to audiences worldwide.
